The Vision
Sid Christiansen, MD a practicing Otolaryngologist for more than 30 years and Board President of Resolve Physician Agency, had a vision. As a physician, he had experienced and observed physician inadequacy and lack of expertise when the time came to negotiate their employment agreements. Dr. Christiansen wanted to help other physicians find the professional assistance they needed to empower them when faced with these contractual challenges. Having owned and operated not only a successful private practice, surgery center, imaging center, medical real estate company and physician provider organization for many years, Dr. Christiansen knew what it would take to get a new business off the ground. More importantly, Dr. Christiansen understands the many challenges physicians face and has helped tailor the services Resolve offers to meet those challenges.
Joining Dr. Christiansen as a partner in Resolve Physician Agency is CEO, Cord Harper. Cord has invested nearly 20 years of his career consulting with, marketing to, and negotiating for physicians after completing his MBA degree. Most recently Cord was the head of recruiting for one of the largest physician recruiting firms in the nation where he noted that physicians were routinely overmatched at the negotiating table and needed professional representation. In this role, Cord was involved in negotiating hundreds of physician employment agreements and knows the mindset of the employer and their bargaining strategies inside and out.
