Anyone can find jobs, especially when there are more jobs available for physicians than there are physicians to fill them. But not everyone can find and evaluate the jobs that line up well with specifically what you’re looking for in an efficient manner. Most jobs aren’t even publicly posted or outsourced with a recruiting firm but rather rely on word of mouth and networking to get filled. The only way you will get access to them, then, is if you are already plugged into the network or have hundreds of hours available to you to pick up the phone and cold call.
